DOUGLAS MAGNUS

Doug Magnus is best known for his jewelry, although anyone who knows him will tell you he is a renaissance man. He has been in Santa Fe since the late 1960’s, and if it happened in this town, he was probably there. Chances are, he also probably filmed it.

Today, he is opening his rarely seen archives to produce a series of films that will give an unprecedented look into the heyday of Santa Fe’s bohemian art scene, and the surprising history of Canyon Road and how it came to be what it is today.
